Subject: [CR]Wolber rim question and Masi

Hi! I think Wolber and Super Champion did not own a dictionary, back in the day. My Masi came 2nd hand with 32 hole Wolber Super Champion Aspen rims (tubular, of course!!), "Aspen" spelled with an "e" on the label. Is this the same as a Wolber rim labeled "Aspin?" Another uncertainty (I'm looking up ERD numbers) is that there may be a Wolber Aspen (or Aspin) and there is of course the rim I have.

Now the on-topic part: When were my rims in production? Could they have been as-sold on my 1980 Masi GC? Obviously they are not the as-advertised Martanos.

The front wheels are laced with DT stainless spokes, that seem to be straight 14 guage.

Any Wolber experts out there?
