That matches mine - Ken Freeman, Ann Arbor, MI

It's looking like Wolber/Super Champion may simply have used two different spellings on their labels.

BTW, Aldo retracted his claim that Aspins were aero.

Thanks, Jerry!

The Aspin rims I have are dark-anodized tubulars, but not aero.

As of 1982 the only Super Champion rims available were the Route, Arc-en-Ciel, Prestige, Record, Record du Monde, and Performance. That's according to the 1982 Wolber team poster included with Miroir du Cyclisme. At least that year, Wolber and Super Champion were still separate product "labels".

Super Champion rims became Wolber in winter '83/84.

Wolber introduced their first aero rims (a.k.a. Aspin) in 1984.
