Brian, It has been a while without hearing from you. It is always a treat to get a post from you! I can't wait to see just what you think the Holy Grail is among bikes.
   Is it something that you have made yourself? If I had to guess I would say a sublime fixed gear that speaks of the simple elegance of the essence of bicycle. In fact I would be willing to bet one and all (unless they are cheating and have some inside information that I don't) an espresso drink that I am right.
   I hope I don't appear too argumentative when I point out that it will be your own vision of that ideal bicycle and even though you may be far more enlightened than the vast majority of us...certainly more so than me...that it is still one person's perspective of it all. Apparently you are catching up on your mail. I have several things to tell you and ask about that I will write about off list. Welcome back!
