Out here in California in the 1970s and 1980s The Quick Release Bicycle Club (Joe Kossak, Director Sportif, Peter Johnson, one of the stars) was sponsored by and rode Zeus components and the team members told me they were very unhappy with the reliability of the Zeus parts (I won't repeat their actual words). They did, however, like the Zeus alloy freewheel.
