I am just building up an early 1960's Legnano Roma Olimpiade. I bought it as a frame only, made from Columbus tubing, and am puzzling over the correct seat post size. A 27.2 seems rather tight and a 27.0 seems slightly loose, though it will certainly clamp up satisfactorily. Does anyone out there know what size post these frames were designed to take?
