Thanks Hugh. I had a look at the bike this morning, but forgot to look for the serial number. I will put a bid on it, even though its not my size, so hopefully I'll know in a day or two.The lugs are like the Italia lugs shown at http://www.hetchins.org/condor01.htm but the fork crown is semi-sloping. Components have obviously been changed (and downgraded) so they are no indication of age, however the headset is probably TDC or Baylis-Wiley, requiring a pin spanner for adjustment.

There is a rough looking Condor, probably an Italia, for sale on a local auction website. Hopefully I will be able to view the bike before the auction closes on Sunday. Does anyone know how frame serial number relates to date?
