I don't know what the ebay bike is but it must be newer than 1980. I have a 1980 Competition GS. Made in England. It was bought as a frame so only GS part is the headset. Rest is Record / NR. Black with chrome on fork and stays. (one on ebay states it has chrome painted over) No braze-ons except for cable stop on top of chainstay. (ebay bike has top of top tube guides and the rear derailler stop is on underside of stay.)
