What a great bunch of guys and gals from the BVVW! Mona and Greg Arnold were great hosts. I would have enjoyed spending more time talking to them and none of it was about bikes, at least while at their house!! But, dinner awaited. Gianni held us back until about 8:30PM and the "short" walk to the restaurant was about 8 or 9 blocks by my calculation. I'm usually in bed by 9 PM, but the conversation and food kept me going until the party broke up about 11. Meeting some of the CR listmembers who I haven't met and seeing everyone in "their" city was special. Meeting Matteo was also a great moment as he and I have corresponded for over four years, before he became a listmember. I don't think he is the youngest listmember, but certainly among the youngest!! Thanks to everyone who organized the event, the Arnolds for hosting the pre-dinner reception, and to everyone who attended. I'm looking forward to visiting again, but I've got to lose about ten pounds to account for what I ate and drank. Oh, and my business meeting was a success today, which made the trip even better.
