""""""So, what's up with the price on the Eisentraut Limited that's currently on Ebay? $985 seems like way too much too me. Weren't some of these built by Albert's apprentices? It is a nice bike for sure, but it's not $1000 nice to me.""""""

Do you supposed that the old California Masi that recently sold on Ebay for $3617.00 was built by Falerio???? Do you think that the Cinelli that recently sold on Ebay for $4777.00 was built by Cino????? Actually the bikes built in the Eisentraut Bicycles Shop were not built by apprentices - there were NO Apprentices. People who made the bikes were employees. I was Vice President and Part-Owner of Eisentraut Bicycles Inc. & from 1974 to 1976. During that time I probably brazed 750 Limiteds and custom frames. I started Bruce Gordon Cycles in 1976 - Jeez!!!!! That is almost 30 years ago.
