Superleggera post came out in 1971, replaced in 1974 by the fluted Super Record post.

There wasn't a Nuovo Record seat post. The seat post was called Record. People took to calling the Record seat post a "Nuovo Record" seat post when the Super Record version came out.

First seen at the 1956 Tour de France in July, a micro-adjust, two bolt seat post (steel post and steel head brazed together). The next Campagnolo catalog was in 1960 (previous catalog was 1955) and it shows an aluminum Record seat post.

Lots of changes over the years that are impossible to date with any degree of accuracy. Earlier aluminum Record seat post... thinner bolt heads, thinner clamps, very small lettering at the back. cradles with "Campagnolo" cast in the sides.
