Thanks, Greg for taking the pressure off the undersigned! I saw this mins after it was posted and was hoping it was not my size. And of course, it is.

Gorgeous of course. And yes, what's with the British and bikes... all that understatement just went out the window when it came to painting and finishing bikes. This was not the case pre-war and may have been a consequence of being fed-up with wartime dreariness. Machines like this would be a tonic after a tedious workweek for sure! Plus this has the rock star association, what more can one wish for? I wonder if there were others? Other than John Lennon of course who rode, like Reg Harris, a Lenton Sports!

Look forward to seeing what components etc. you fit her out with. I'd go Simplex/Stronglight myself. And perchance Nick at Lloyds has the right downtube transfers.

And finally what nonsense to worry about the price especially in "Dale's Garage" where such boring practicalities and spousal sensibilities were, I thought, banned. Or should be.
