These "swap meets" are essentially consignment sales; 15% of sale price goes to WABA. A group of us are perpetual leaders, and have a ball with it. Sometimes folks show up with parts that are neat; I've gotten everything from wheels to Cinelli pedals. Occasionally, I've gotten a wonderful bike, such as a Paramount that went to listmember Raoul Del Mare, a Medici GT, and a Roma fixed gear with Magistroni and FB components. But, it is spotty, and not always memorable. This time, it turns out that several of the "regulars" have conflicts and will not be there -- including me.
