[CR]Wisdom needed on regearing an old bike

I have a 70's vintage bike that is mostly Campy NR equipped (the hubs are the exception). My knees want this bike to have some lower gears.

I have had several ideas, suggestions, so I am asking for some wisdom from this list.

1. Install a triplizer chainring on the Campy NR crank. 2. Install a new inexpensive triple crankset. 3. Replace the current 15-26 freewheel with something that has some larger cogs.

What do you folks Think?
