Is it only me who can see the resemblance between Jim Gilchrist's newly acquired Geoffrey Butler..and some of the other frames to Members' attention has been drawn recently. To my eye the frame has the look of an MKM..the fork crown being a "Milremo" one distributed by Ron Kitching's organisation, and the lugs are probably long point Prugnat.

I've never been sure if Geoffrey Butler had his own frame-builders in the 70s, which seems to be the period for this frame. Does anyone out there know? Frank..I think you are nearest of the CR Listers to Croyden.

Norris Lockley...Settle UK...should be with the other 15000 cyclists at the CTC York Rally..but will be there tomorrow
