Is the I-jack that big old chrome Park tool (that weighs a ton) that you put between the BB and the fork in order to straighten a bent fork? I always remember the real serious looking Mechanics at the old shops I worked at as a teen using these things. I seem to remember that tool being used on many Raleigh 3-speeds back in the day.

The serious guy would pull that tool out from under his bench and squint his eyes through his little wire-framed glasses which rested just above his Neanderthal looking beard. Once he got the tool in place, he started jacking it back and forth. I hated that tool because it made a ton of noise.

I had problems with this guy. He had this pointy bald head and I told him he reminded me of a walnut. Then one day he came into work smelling kind of strange and I accused him of being a wino.

Ted Baer The "I-Jack is making me think of a "Big-Mac" so I think I'll turn off this "i-Mac" and go get a few........ Palo Alto, CA
