For the first few years, 753 was only available in metric sizes, but by the 1980s you could also get it in English sizes. The earlier sets were also thinner and lighter than the later 753R sets; these lighter gauges later morphed into the 753 "Track" tube sets. The 753R tube set I have here takes a 27.4mm seat post.
