Hello everyone, A truly memorable cycling Saturday for those of you who can get BBC4 tune in tonight for "Death On a Mountain" the Tom Simpson documentary. They are also showing "A Sunday in Hell", Belle Vue Rendezvous and some other cycling pieces, programmes start at 7.0pm London time. Hopefully this Saturday will be the start of one of the most historic Tour de France ever when Lance Arnstrong tries for a record breaking seven victories and becomes the oldest rider since Bartali in 1948 to win the tour. He has just slipped a pedal at the start the radio says! Good luck Lance.
