Very nice indeed, Tom! And nothing better than bringing one "back" like this. How on earth did you manage to find a classic British lightweight in such a large frame size? My lack of space for more bikes is abetted by the fact the vast majority are too small.

I also love your description of her being "splendidly well mannered", sounds like my '48 RRA and yes, British machines of this period simply have "it" in spades. Finish, lugs, lines, riding quality and yes even their names: an Algurn Fleur de Lys... no doubt where that was made!

Congrats again and ride the heck out of her!
