Beautiful, custom-made Alpineer road bike. A Rich Chillingsworth special out of Tulsa, Oklahoma and one of Rich\u2019s last bikes. White with chrome rear triangle and fork, all Campy (C-Record I believe, and very elegant), 53 cm, all steel, strong and stiff, pretty criterium bars. My old racing bike from college. Needs a new saddle, tape and a good cleaning. Comes with Wheelsmith wheels, new tires, Zefal pump. $300 firm. Call Lou at 202-333-3776., or louisoneill@verizon.net
Chrome looked fine, although we were indoors not outside. 7-speed rear, shifted by Nuovo Record. DT shifters and nice cranks later, but I don't know the model. Non-indexed. I know of no reason not to trust the seller (who works with my sister-in-law, of all the coincidences). It looked like a very good value, but it is too small for me, too tall for Beloved Spouse, and there is a bit of a space issue at the cabin right now. Other than trying to help a guy place his bike, I have no dog in this fight.
