While not pretending to be a Holdsworth expert, I am looking at the 1976 Holdsworth brochure at this very moment. The Professional in team colours in this brochure is completely orange and blue, only the dropouts (front and rear) are chromed. Very classy. The lugs have white lining, the seat stays have white intricate lines at the seatpost cluster. The fork blades look beefier than the ones on the ebay frame. Now if a frame exactly like the one in the brochure appeared on ebay I would enter a bid! It would have to be 58 though, and I'd have to be sure it has the 75 degree parallel geometry.

Freek, wish I had bought the Holdsworth in 77, Faro Rotterdam Netherlands

Holdworth Pro's are relatively rare, even compared to say Masi GC's. They have a great racing heritage and are generally considered to be nicely crafted framesets. That combined with this one's nice original finish and a popular size all justify a "decent" price. That two people desperately want this one is where the seller is lucking out. If any of the variables I mentioned were different I would not feel the same but in my opinion +/-

$1200 is about right for this framset. I was planning on bidding; I'm out though as to me, she has surpassed the price I was willing to pay (which is sometimes different than the general consensus on a frame or bikes typical market value).
