I was catching your drift when I thought this post was made to me, out of concern for list diplomacy and the greater good. Now I've noticed that it was made to the entire list, as if to scold me publicly for actually presenting my opnion in a slightly controversial way. Some people on this list are given to controversy and make controversial posts several times daily, without being called on it publicly, at least not be you. I guess people like that are either better at getting away with it than I am, or less able to get their point across in writing.
For all my dangerous skating, I'm surprised that I haven't heard from the only guy who's approval really matters. In the future, I'll welcome your opinion off list, unless it is at least vaguely relevant to CR content.
