There is another variation with a Ti spindle, one would need an old Var or similar BB tap that has a reduced drive end to thread straight through, we had a customer who came in with a similar BB long ago, we did not do the job as we were concerned about the path the tap might take, in addition, an extender would have to be fabricated to get the threads completely cut. If you get a frame modified for it be sure to torque the cranks down with a steel bolt, then remove and install the alloy units.
