George, I've never cared for Hi-E stuff, but my friend was a rabid fan of Harlan. He used the skewers (glorified wing nuts) and was told by Harlan that Campagnolo dropouts needed to be notched with a file so the axle fit into the notch so that the wheel wouldn't pull forward.
