When remitting payments to European publications, I use euro checks drawn on banks in the country of the publication. These type of checks can normally be obtained from foreign exchange businesses. The company I use in San Francisco charges a fee of USD$3 for each check.

Dollar based checks checks are often more trouble than they are worth to most Europeans. While banks will often accept a US Dollar check, they charge a lot of fees unless the account holder is a "preferred" customer.

If I read it correctly, airmail to USA would cost 80 Euros per year payable by postal money order mailed to their offices. Will a US Postal International money order be accepted? Not sure you can get those in Euros. Will they accept one in dollars? Jerry Moos
