Phil, His first proper bike was an Armstrong Moth. Then a Humber with a 2 speed Sturmey. Next a Selbach. First made to measure bike was built by Jack Herrety, next a Sibbitt, Claud Butlers when a top amateur (Worlds & Olympics) and Raleighs as a pro.
