thanks dale for pointing out a really good reason for not making a wall flower out of this masi - how else am i going to find out what the big deal is if i don't ride it? i am still enough of a "poseur" to admit that if this frameset had its original finish in pristine condition, i definitely would not ride it. but since this is a repaint, i have no qualms about making it my vintage rider. an original finish is irreplaceable, but even the nicest refinish is reproducible by several talented painters around the country. so there you have it, this old masi will be ridden - with tubulars of course! i look forward to letting you know when i find out what the big deal is.

ps - yeah, i don't really need anything else, i have all the bikes i need... well, except maybe for a de rosa...my collection is not really complete without a de rosa...yeah i definitely need a de rosa. and if i find one, then that's it, i won't need any more bikes...definitely, yeah

\r?\n> size....sounds like you're already posturing for a deRosa?

\r?\n> a tip of the hat from this poseur to the hard cores who believe it

\r?\n> i guess no more whining from me about wanting a masi - i would like a
