Greetings to the CR list! I've been lurking on the list for quite a while, but have sold some bikes and parts through the list and the CR "For Sale" site. I've been cycling for over 30 years, and still own a couple of bikes that I bought way back when. I think I became aware of the vintage and the classic when Cyclopedia distributed a "Classic & Collector" catalogue in 1991, which was filled with parts like I had on my bikes!

My collection/accumulation consists of the low-brow-but-curious, the ones I've always had, the rather nice within-timeline machines, and the interesting but OT: ca. 1970 Philips (apparently a 3-speed frame fitted out as a ten-speed; GB brakes with red anodized levers!) ca. 1970 Welker (made by Garlatti; a budget Cinelli Riviera? Fixed gear at present.) 1972 Gitane Interclub (original owner) 1972 Schwinn Super Sport (stripped down to a single speed 'cross) 1973 Mirella (original owner; now set up for touring) 1983 Guerciotti (mostly Super Record) 1983 Mercian Vincitore (frame soon to be arriving, and thank you, Peter Naiman!) 1985 Specialized Rockhopper (with Cinelli drops!) ca. 1985 Faggin (my son's, actually) 1997 Green Gear Family Tandem

WTT: In anticipation of building up the Mercian, I have a NOS Campy Super Record braze-on front derailleur that I 'd like to trade for a SR clamp-on FD in excellent to NOS condition. Thanks to anyone who can help!
