Subject: [CR]Info on Ortelli bikes

Hi,

Among the Italian bikes in Classicrendezvous gallery pages thereĀ¹s also the "Ortello" brand. But the link isn't active since it's not complete and need contributions.

Now, was there really a bike named Ortello? Or is it supposed to be Ortelli named after the famous Vito Ortelli, Italian Champion in 1948 and one of Fausto Coppi's rivals.

You see, in a Swedish garage I found a 1979 Ortelli road bike. With Vito Ortellis signature engraved in the orange colored frame it's has once been a beautiful bike. But nowadays it's worn and rusty. It has also lost some of its original gear. It's in serious need of restoring. But before eventually taking that on I feel I have to know a little more about these bikes. But I can't find any information on the net. Is there a source for such knowledge that someone knows about?
