I'd like to see the copper/chrome Sieber frame pics. Sieber are very cool bikes. I believe someone in the Kansas City area brought them in starting just after the War. I restored a 1947 Sieber track bike for a gemtleman whose Father-in-law originally owned the bike and confirmed the date and location of the purchase. I have a very nice 1950 ladies Sieber that is delicate and elegant, just as the other Sieber bikes I've seen are. Anxious to see the one you have.

though a different make i have a sieber that the main tubes r copper plated the rear stays lugs n fork were chromed my understanding is that its typical to copper before chroming when my "real" computer comes home from the hospital will send pix if u like peace sarahgibsonkansascity
