a nice frame! I have some doubts about the seller's comment "Made in England", since it's a Raleigh USA model. ?Right?

Hi Steve: I believe that it was made in England (see also the sticker just above the BB on the seat tube), but most likely at Worksop if I had to guess. Not an Ilkeston frame, but kinda cool nonetheless..... Greg Parker<<<<<

I'm a little late on the up-take on this one, but maybe I can add a little. I have a Raleigh Team USA road frame that I suspect to be of the same era as the track frame in question. VERY similar in details and markings. Mine is an 85, if I'm interpreting the SN correctly. My frame sports stickers/decals that indicate "Made in England for sale in the US" and "Raleigh Ilkeston England" on the seat tube. The frame is built with Reynolds 753R tubes (at least that's what another sticker says) and has a number tab braze-on.
