John,

You will soon get your wish for an Applehans, Pergs. I found the frame I mentioned to you a while back and the fork. Full chrome track frame. I'll send it off before too long. She needs to be back in her home state.

Interesting bike with an interesting name. V. Appelham on Heath Ave. NY. Check out photos on this site. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/wheelman_nj/album?.dir=14d2

Let me know your thoughts on this one, you BVVW guys, c'mon show your stuff. One of your own calls."

Ray, "Appelhans" is considered by many to be "The Master" of the time (20's and 30's). At least Al Eisentraut said so in an interview in Bicycle Guide back in the mid 80's. He mentioned how no one even remembered Appelhans. I'd sure like one. All ya had to do was ask Ray.
