Great post, Mike thanks.. not often we have the builder of a TdF winne r tell us the inside story. Another excuse for me to ride my '80 Team Pro today, not that I need one! Mine was built autumn '80 or late enough that year to have that down tube sticker noting the 1980 TdF victory and Knetemann's '79 World Championship.
