Hey gals and guys...
Everyone has been doing pretty well of late (not counting the 74 members I booted off... Just kidding!)
I DID want to remind you about a few "guidelines"..not so much rules but wise things for the better running of this gangly group of 1200 members.
The first reminder is that goal of limiting ourselves to 4 messages each per day. A few of these recent threads would have sustained my interest (rather than getting OLD fast!) if members had saved up their thoughts and condensed them into just a few succinct posts. Try to discipline yourselves my friends, please.....
The other subject I want to talk about is that elusive On-Topic thing. The recent threads where we compare old riders to new riders is OK, just so long we don't lazily forget the vintage element and go soaring off into inappropriate stuff. Lately I have been extremely lenient (partly because I have been so damn busy I haven't followed all threads closely) but I need you folks to use your intelligence and trust you to stick to the fairly narrow topic range that you bought into when you joined.
Just keep up the good work, stay on topic and keep it simple and to the point and all of us will have fun...
