Try threading an English thread BB locking onto the hub. That may allow you o better judge the fit of the threads.

_______________________________________________ Ha! An English BB lockring threads on tightly and there's absolutely no preceptable play. In fact, it fit so snug I needed the Lock Ring wrench to get it back off. So the verdict is: BSC threads, albiet perhaps a bit undersized from the factory. I'll try to be avoid changing the freewheel once the hubs are built up. Thanks to Ted, Jerrry, Steve and John for their help, and especially to Chuck Brooks who sold me these lovelies in the first place. Chuck, I'll never doubt you again.
