I would assume that, since these lack the raised flange, they are the less expensive Normandy Sport, found on the Peugeot UO-8 and countless other low to mid-priced bike boom models.

All of the Normandy Competition hubs I've seen (and the ones on my PX-10) have a raised flange at the spoke holes but these are flat or flush. Is this a different hub perchance or just an older model? It is said to be 1970, the same age as my PX-10 or close enough.

I am considering getting this to replace the rather beat-up Super Champion wheelset on my machine, but although I have resigned myself to putting an ex-Gitane wheelset on my Peugeot (mon dieu!) I don't want to get the hubs screwed up in the process.
