Flat flanged Normandy Luxe Hubs do exist. They are identical to the Sports visually except for high polish, red Luxe Competition stickers, and maybe r ed bearing cup seals. Most (99%) of the Luxe hubs I have seen have curved f langes with raised rims and large oval holes. I assume the straight vertica l flanged Luxes had upgraded bearings and polish but were cheaper to manufa cture. I do not know when these were produced but I suspect these were late r 70's or early 80's. I witness these on a friends PX-10 about 5 years ago. Brian in Berkeley
