Is a vintage steed mandatory? Will you all pummel me with banana peels and your empty bidons if I ride my OT steed? My smallest gear is a 42-24 right now on my vintage steeds and I think I may need something smaller for GMR. I may be able to switch out to a 42-27 by Sunday at best, since I don't have a triple in my parts box.

The ride up to Baldy Village is still on!

The following folks are confirmed:

Chuck Schmidt

Jack Bissell

Charles and Carmen

Doland Cheung

A couple others are tentative.

Weather is predicted to be moderate: 85 degrees with about 50% humidity. Not too bad.

Lunch in Claremont after.

C'mon out! It'll be fun. What else could you possibly be doing that would be more fun than doing 5000 feet of climbing in 25 miles out in the California wilderness? Huh? <g>

E-mail me for directions. The ride starts at 9am this Sunday at Pioneer Park in Azusa.
