Thin territory here, but the seller of these bikes has indicated a desire that they stay together. Since I know the seller, and since I have purchased bikes at times and maintained agreements to keep them together, it might be nice to try to respect their wishes.

Of course they know once they are sold people can do what they want with them - but for historical reasons this looks like a pair that really wants to stay together.

I split up one matched pair awhile back but only after asking the original seller (after about 3 years passed )if it was OK - he said yes as he knows that the person I sold it to has agreed to sell it back to me (or to purchase mine) if either of us really need cash.

In no way would I think less of anyone for pooling together and spliting this pair, but I just wanted to mention that it might be nice if that didn't happen.

That said, the listmember in question could pass as a result of the comment, and then someone off the list might buy the pair and spit them anyway. But I just wanted to add my 2 cents.
