That is a curious point, about the pricing. I remember that being the case with British frames back in the day. Fillet brazing probably is more work if the lugged frame is done with no frills and no filing. I've seen fillet brazed frames left unfiled and those that are really good at it like Dave Tesch, Tom Ritchey, Ross Schaffer could leave them go unfiled and they still looked really nice. I prefer a nice file job, myself. Fillet joints should be perfect and consistant throughout the frame.

I my case I would charge less for a fillet brazed frame, but what would be the point of a fillet brazed Baylis? They do exist, but without paint, how would you know what it was?
