David White flagged an Olmo with unusual lugs, one that stimulates both an observation and a question.
Observation: I suspect that the bike is no later than the mid-1960. The lugs are similar to, but not identical to, the ones on my wife's '61 (?) Atala, and I sure didn't see much of this style much later. Like this Olmo, the Atala had chromed lugs.
Question: That bike left us a couple of decades ago, but I had always thought that these rather massive lugs were (sand?) castings rather than sheet metal like the Nervex, Prugnat, etc. Surely someone has better insight than my fading memories and dim observations.
Bonus conjecture: The RD seems to be a gran sport. By 63 or 64 at latest, pretty well supplanted by the ("steel") Record. Or, could be secondary line, also suggested by wing nuts on axles and lack of "D" rings on DT shifters.

Check out the lugs on this one! Bike looks mostly original.

Way too small for me, but surely of interest to someone on the list! No relation to seller.
