hi brian, thanks for the response. here are the pics i have to work with, (and i realize they're sub-optimal).

the seller isn't currently able to provide better photos (i got the impression the camera was borrowed), but he described the 'M' cutout on the bb shell, and said that the seatstay bridge says 'masi' on it.

the rear wheel sounds like it's a campy record high-flange laced to a saavedra turbo rim, and the front is some random road wheel. cranks are dura-ace. the fork is a carbon road fork, but the original fork (pictured) comes with the bike.

again, thanks to anyone who can offer any clues, however tenuous, as to the authenticity of the bike.
