It all gets down to what the buyer chooses to do. If the present owner doesn't think the bike should be ridden, he shouldn't sell it (and maybe he isn't - with an alleged $1,000,000 reserve, it could end up as just sort of a massive chest-puffing chain-yank). If the buyer wants to take it out every day to occasionally hear "Nice bike!" and satisfy his or her ego, so be it. If he or she wants to make a shrine of it and sit and admire it, so be it. We each have our own opinions and might say one way or the other what we'd do, that's fine, but none of it makes any difference except for the opinion of the person who plunks down the cash.
