I was catching up on my CR reading and noticed BOB FREITAS' inquiry about Clement 2001/T tires. The one's he referenced were the clincher model. They also made a glue on model, the 2001. I have a pair of NOS clincher models in my basement. They were hell to mount and that's why they are still in my "dungeon". The glue-on version is a bit friendlier, I've used them on my '48 Paramount track bike and they wear like iron. They also can hold hi-pressure for remarkably long periods....I mean days! I still have a spare that's soon to go on the bike.

The interesting feature of these tire was the "fix-a-flat" aerosol repair-inflator canister that was made to repair them. I still have one or two kicking around, but have never had to use one.
