this is funny. i outed the book to get info. several people wrote me off-list to say it was a great book, but nick zatezalo in particular wrote and said that not only was it a great book, but that "it went" for a low price - huh, whaddayamean "it went"? i checked and sure'nuff, it went b.i.n. to a cr lister! i should have asked off list! especially with a b.i.n. option available. aaargh! oh well, at least it was one of us, and it was fair game once i outed it. the blow is further softened by the fact that i got to matteo's lot first.
it all evens out in the end. which leads me into this: i've yet to have an unpleasant direct transaction with any of my fellow listers, and i've had several, but even if i had, i think that it would be off-topic and inappropriate to out the complaint on-list (sorry to disagree directly with you on this mike). i don't want to involve over 1,000 people in my problems - that's what the off-list network is for. we don't want to turn this great list into a quasi-ebay.
