Chuck Schmidt identified a few Campagnolo allen key patents.

I wonder how durable some of them were, the chainring bolt patent appears pretty durable for a time, the others were used very rapidly by TA, Stronglight, Nervar, Simplex that come quickly to mind. Perhaps they were found to not be enforceable?

I doubt Sugino paid for the use in the 70's of the chainring bolt patent. The "star washer" for brakes and the pista chainring bolt patent that through the use of knurling or similar edge treatment held the back of the chainring bolt to the crankarm were also very notable by Campagnolo.

Remembering Klein and his for a while at least, very profitable patent on oversize bicycle tubing, Schwinn paid for quite a while on that license before someone brought to court the picture of Cook (I think it was) on his oversize alloy tubed welded bike from a few years prior...

So, kind of diverging, as some framebuilders' ideas such as the "Cinelli" full sloping fork crown were picked up by many very fast. The integrated headset as well known in use by Bianchi I do not think was exclusive to them, seen other examples on different Italian and even a French frame or two.

At the sunset of the CR timeline Campagnolo also adopted the use of allen key bolts for fixing of the brake cable at the caliper. But did not adopt the Modolo application of allen bolt attachment of the brake block holders till much later
