I still have an Avocet SP that I am thinking of installing on my Eisentraut after I finish and polish it as the fabricator obviously left it quite a bit rougher than the frame's level of finish. It is a 1977 frame so I am assuming it's about the same vintage??? Anyone have any ideas?

Regarding GPM, I had a wheelset with their Campy-look-alike hubs and generally liked them until I had some spokes pull off a portion of the flange. It became a paperweight!

And on FIR, one of the prettiest, low Q, highly polished cranksets I ever saw was from them. Still like to find one of those, but I don't know how many made their way stateside.
