What makes these so valuable is that they are the special mudguards for the Raleigh RRA which have the reflector housing moulded into the rear 'guard. I am pretty sure this was only for the RRA and was also used post-war or at least on the 1948-49 models not just pre-war as advertised.

Bluemels made Noweight 'guards for any bike of course but these had the reflector in its own alloy housing bolted to the 'guard.

It's one of those little details that rules this passion/hobby whatever for some.

Heck, even I was sorely tempted. If you're fortunate enough to own an RRA, this is a cheap thrill. Just not cheap enough for me.
