My Serotta 7-11 Murray replica frame has a serial number that appears to date it from 1984 and SLX decals on both frame and forks. I've been unable to verify the date from Serotta's big book, as it's apparently not in there, but the 1985 Serotta catalog on Bulgier definitely shows an SLX frame (the "Special X"). Also the 1984 Guerciotti Bulgier catalog shows an SLX model. Earliest claim I could find in the archives was for a Torpado supposedly built in early '84 for someone working for Torpado.
