So the verdict is in. I took out the BB this morning. NOT SLX. No ribs in seat tube, down tube, or chainstays. I was surprised. I am sure the decal has always been on there. I will post some more pics in my yahoo album soon. Not investment cast lugs either, but I think someone already pointed that out. The smooth lines of the head lugs fooled me. Those sneaky Italians.
