Subject: [CR]Large Hetchins Vade Mecum for sale

For Sale: An exceptional bike: A 1968 Hetchins Vade Mecum I road/path complete bike. Size: Seat tube 25" c-c and Head tube 23" c-c. ORIGINAL paint and decals: deep red with gold lug lining and a six-day decal on the seat tube. Chrome fork crown lugs and fork tips. Age lines and little cracks appear on the decals. Chrome is nearly perfect. Track ends, 110mm spacing. No dents, dings, scratches or damage.

Set up with a Sturmey Archer FM (four speed medium ratio) gear hub (rebuilt by Hilary Stone), recently installed NOS Universal 68 brakes, Titan handlebars and stem, Campagnolo tipo front hub with straight skewer, Rigida rims, Wolber tires, Campagnolo 170mm Strada crankset (144bcd with no date code), Campagnolo steel pedals (no loop), Lycett Swallow saddle.
